Thinking back on this place, I can sum up Rocco’s in one word–
Their pizzas have a layers of TEXTURE that I don’t taste in many other pizza places. The crust has a nice chew to it and they smartly swap the cheese and sauce here. So instead of the sauce being the “glue” that holds the pizza together – it mixes with the cheese and gives each bite another texture and flavor.
I don’t get over to Rocco’s in FW that often…. but it’s a great pie.
